About me

I am a fully-qualified UKCP psychotherapist and am additionally registered with the BACP. I have undertaken rigorous, doctoral level, training in order to provide high-quality therapy. 

I am a clinical member of both  the Southern Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (SAFPAC), and of the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA).

Qualifications

2016  PsychD in Psychotherapy and Counselling (Roehampton University - a professional doctorate leading to UKCP registration as a psychotherapist)

2007 MSc in Psychology (Oxford University) 

2004 BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience (Nottingham University)

I have also completed numerous other shorter courses, including at Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, and with Brief (Solution-focused therapy).

Experience

In addition to working privately, I work as a Counsellor at an independent school, and as a therapist for The Priory Group. Previously, I worked for the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I have also volunteered as a counsellor at The Listening Centre, providing low-cost therapy for adults.
